Spring Break Camps
Camps tend to fill up quickly at Willamalane, but at last check, there were a few openings left.
Highlighted camp: Spring into Venture, a brand-new camp for middle schoolers. Teens and tweens will enjoy a week full of exciting outdoor activities, local day trips, and team-building games. Plus, it’s a preview of this summer’s Camp Venture.
Camp Putt Opens March 20
On Friday, March 20, Camp Putt officially opens for the season! The all-ages, seasonal outdoor mini-golf park features two 18-hole courses spread over two acres full of beautiful greenery and fun water features. After hitting the green, top off your fun spring day with dinner and a view at Roaring Rapids Pizza.
Camp Putt will be open every day of spring break, weather permitting. Daily weather-related closures are posted on the Camp's Facebook page.

- March 20: 4-7 p.m.
- March 21-29: 12-7 p.m.
More Waterpark Swims at Splash
Visit our region’s favorite indoor waterpark! Play in the wave pool, zip down the water slide, relax in the spa, or splash in the kiddie pool. Splash will be open every day of spring break for fun waterpark swims.
Waterpark Swims During Spring Break (March 22-29)
- Monday-Friday: 1-4 p.m. and 4:30-7:30 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 1-5 p.m.
Y2K Skate
For the first weekend during spring break, head over to Bob Keefer Center and throw it back to Y2K! Capture the essence of the late 90’s and early 2000’s while skating to the music of the times. Come dressed in the bold patterns and metallic accents that brought the era to life.
Visit a Park
Families visiting parks often ask which parks have restrooms. Here’s a quick list of the go-to parks you can visit with restrooms.
Did you know? You can use the “filter my amenities” option on the parks page to find exactly what you’re looking for in Willamalane parks, facilities, pools, and paths!
- Bob Artz Park – Best known for its softball fields, but also offers ample parking and a small playground.
- Clearwater Park – Known for its river access, but it also has a full disc golf course, paved paths, and ample natural area.
- Dorris Ranch – A community favorite. Check out the fast forest, barn, and miles of paved paths!
- Guy Lee Park – Tons of green space, paths, and portable restrooms.
- Island Park – Another community favorite, with lots of green space, huge trees, and a spacious playground.
- Lively Park – One of the biggest playgrounds around, with full restrooms on site.
- Meadow Park – Another playground favorite, plus a picnic shelter, pickleball courts, and tons of green space.
- Ruff Memorial Park and Magnolia Arboretum – While it’s a bit early for magnolia blooms, you might see a few in late March. Plus, restrooms and a short, paved loop path. Great for picnics!
- Thurston Hills Natural Area – The main trailhead offers a full restroom, perfect for before or after your hike.
- West D Street Greenway – Stop by Heron Playground, Dellinger Trail, or the talking stones on your trip.
- Willamalane Sports Park – This playground is a favorite spot, with a bouldering wall and play equipment for all ages.
