Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the lounge not open all day for drop-in like before?
Due to increased health and safety concerns, we are restructuring our social activity opportunities. Individuals must scan in with a pass or other registered program for access to the facility.
Why have the lounge hours changed?
We are restructuring our lobby schedule to follow more clearly defined program times. The center will only be open to visitors during scheduled programs, activities, and social happenings.
Why did you remove the computer lab?
We were awarded a grant by the National Parks and Recreation Association to help address food insecurity in our community. The previous computer lab will now be dedicated to a food pantry. We will continue to offer computer access in our lounge as a part of our get-together pass.
How can I use a computer in the facility?
Computer access is still available between 9-11:30 a.m. while the lobby is open for social happenings. The room that previously held the computer lab is now home to a grant-funded Food Hub which offers grocery items to our community free of charge.
Why do I have to scan or sign in for programs?
We prioritize our visitors’ safety above all else. We are asking that visitors sign or scan in so that we can continue contact tracing in public buildings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Will Senior Meals transition back indoors?
Yes! We plan to offer indoor service again starting fall 2021. Until then, we encourage you to continue using the drive-thru service.
