City Nature Challenge Bioblitz

All ages. Participate in the 2024 Lane County City Nature Challenge with Willamalane! Citizens share observations of wild plants and animals in a worldwide Bioblitz. This outdoor, free program makes it easy and fun to participate. You’ll learn from Willamalane’s Natural Resources Department, explore Georgia Pacific Natural Area, and contribute to citizen science.

Willamalane Board of Directors Meeting

The Willamalane Board of Directors holds monthly meetings to guide district operations and special or emergency board meetings when necessary.  Public members are invited to attend all meetings and speak for three minutes at regular monthly meetings during the public comment section. 

Artist Reception: Kathleen Piper

Experience the diverse talent of our community at reception events as part of Springfield’s Second Friday Art Walk. Each artist’s reception features complimentary refreshments, live music, and a shuttle service to and from the Emerald Art Center, making joining easy and convenient.

Mother’s Day Tea 

Spend the afternoon honoring the mother figures in your life. Enjoy sweet and savory treats in the historic Dorris Ranch barn, pose in our photo booth, and listen to music. Price is per person. Registration is required.

Latin Celebration

Ages 21+.Join the festivities for an evening of dancing, music, refreshments, and hors d’oeuvres! Follow along as dance instructor Lila leads a lesson on Latin dance basics, then dance the night away. The event will feature a cash bar and photo booth. 

Spring Marketplace

Have lunch and browse locally crafted handmade goods in this one-stop shopping destination for Spring décor and gifts, such as birdhouses, garden art, collectibles, home decor, plants, gourmet treats, and more. If you are a vendor wishing to participate in the marketplace, contact Tinker at 541-729-5127 or tinker.flom@willamalane.org. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

Fitness Expo and Health & Wellness Fair 

Try a variety of fitness classes and instructors while you explore a wellness fair with food and a raffle. Childcare will be available.

Beach Blanket Bingo

Beat the heat and join friends on a summer day with beach-themed bingo and prizes. Snacks are included. 

Summer Slam Tennis Tournament 

Ages 8+. Participants will be placed in divisions based on level of playing ability. All events are co-ed. Two matches are guaranteed for each player and awards will be given to the top two finishers in each event.

Country-Western Line Dance Social 

Ages 21+. Wear your country-western best and follow along as dance instructor Lila leads you through line dance basics and combinations. Then, enjoy dancing, music, and refreshments.

Children’s Celebration and PetFest

Willamalane, community partners, and exhibitors will share resources and fun interactive activities, including live performances, the Willamalane train, and more.
