48,000 Eggs at Willamalane’s Annual Megga Hunt on April 4, 2026

Get ready to have an egg-cellent time at Megga Hunt, Springfield’s biggest annual egg hunt! Willamalane's 71st annual Megga Hunt is on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 9 a.m. to noon at Lively Park (6100 Thurston Rd., Springfield). The event is open to all ages and abilities and will feature a variety of egg hunts, including inclusive and adaptive options. 

Tickets are required for all egg hunters, but parents and caregivers do not need tickets. Tickets are $7 and available online at willamalane.org/egg.

Megga Hunt features over 48,000 eggs! The event offers options for all ages and abilities, including competitive hunts for children aged 2 and older, toddler hunts for children aged 1 and younger, inclusive non-competitive hunts for all ages, and adaptive non-competitive hunts for all ages.

Attendees can enjoy hands-on activities, balloon animals, train rides, photo booths, music, and community exhibitors. Concessions will be available, including Dawn's Most Wanted Espresso, Kona Ice, and Flying Cotton Candy.
