
Concerts in the Park 2025
Soak up summer vibes and enjoy a new band each night at this outdoor concert series, featuring live music from a variety of genres. Bring along blankets or chairs to enjoy the music. You can purchase beer, wine, and concessions, or bring your own picnic dinner and sealed non-alcoholic beverages.
- Wednesday and Thursday evenings at Island Park, from July 16-31
- Admission is $3 per night or free with a non-perishable food donation. Donations support the food pantry at Willamalane Adult Activity Center.
Concert Lineup
Gates and concessions open at 5:30 p.m., and concerts begin at 6 p.m. Each evening includes two sets of live music with a 20-minute intermission.

Event Day Details
Getting There
- Park Entrance: Plan to use the South A Street entrance or the D Street entrance. The B Street entrance will be closed this year due to Mill Street Construction.
- Overflow Parking: There is overflow parking at Booth Kelly (303 S 5th Street).
- Ride the Bus: Take the bus to Springfield Station and walk to Island Park. Check back to get a benefit code to redeem your free ride to the event.
- Ride your Bike: Springfield BPAC is hosting a bike valet at the D St entrance to the park 5:30-9 p.m. to keep your bike safe during the event. Bicycles must be walked through the park during the event.
Event Rules
All event attendees must follow Ordinance 100 rules while in the park. This includes:
- Alcohol: No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park. Beer and wine will be available for purchase inside the event area.
- Pets: Dogs are allowed but must be leashed and under control at all times. Please clean up after your pet.
- Smoking: Willamalane is a smoke-free park district.
Accessibility
Willamalane is committed to providing equal opportunities for individuals with various abilities.
- Accessible Parking: There is accessible parking available off the South A St entrance. The shuttle from Booth Kelly is also accessible.
- Paths and Surfaces: There are wheelchair-accessible concrete paths throughout the park. However, some areas have compact and uneven surfaces, including transitions from concrete to grass. Designated accessible seating areas are available for those who need them.
- Shaded Areas and Open Spaces: Shade is plentiful at this park, including designated quiet areas away from crowds and activities.
- Calm-Down Area: Enjoy a dedicated calm-down area with shade, sensory play, and quiet activities.
