Pool Maintenance and Annual Closures
The annual maintenance closure at Splash has been extended due to manufacturer delays on essential equipment and additional damage in the wave chambers identified once the pool was drained. The additional closure time will also allow for much-needed cosmetic repairs.
Here are the important updates:
- Splash will reopen on Dec. 1.
- Willamalane Park Swim Center will offer additional weekend and recreation swim hours through November. Check the schedule.
- Swim lessons: Lessons will continue as scheduled, but all lessons will be held at Willamalane Park Swim Center. Registrants will be directly notified of these changes.
- Water fitness: The Tuesday and Thursday aquatone class will be moved to Friday in November. The November fitness schedule will be available in late October.
- Birthday parties: Willamalane will contact all scheduled parties to determine whether to change the location or date or offer a refund.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as this essential work takes place. Please check back for updates.
