Willamalane has a full range of camps for summer, winter, and spring breaks in Springfield, Oregon! From sports to Esports, and arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, we've got something for every kid.

Winter Break Camps


Have a blast at Willamalane’s Winter Break camps! Camps are available for families who need full-time and part-time care. We have a large variety of camp choices, from sports to video games and local history to STEM, so every kid has an opportunity to find something they will enjoy. Scholarships are available.  No camp on Dec. 24 or Dec. 31.

Winter Break Skills Camps
Grades 1-5. These sports camps are perfect for kids who want to have fun while focusing on athletics and teamwork.

Superhero Jiu Jitsu Winter Break Camp
Ages 7-13. This four-day skills camp features crafts, games, and martial arts instruction. The focus of this camp is the exciting style of Jiu Jitsu which includes wrestling and positional control in a safe and fun environment. Snacks are provided.

Esports Camp
Ages 7-14. Improve your child's gaming skills through progressive drills that will challenge memory, dexterity, and critical thinking in a fun learning environment.

Tennis Camp
Grades 1-5. This skills-based tennis camp will provide your child with an introduction to the fundamentals of tennis, as well as focusing on sportsmanship and athletic development. All skill levels are welcome.

Winter Blast Camp

 Winter Blast Camp is full; try a skills, esports, or tennis camp instead! Grades K-5. Kids have a blast during winter break with this full-day camp. They'll explore arts and crafts, active games, field trips, and more. Choose the days that work with your holiday schedule or have your child attend them all.

Spring Break Camps

Keep kids busy this spring break with full-day activities or sports camps. Camps are available for families who need full-time and part-time care. Registration begins Dec. 8.

Spring Break Camp: Mystery Week
Grades K-5. Young detectives learn how to uncover clues, find evidence, and follow their hunches as they solve silly crimes in this mystery-filled week. Hands-on projects include deciphering codes, writing with invisible ink, and matching fingerprints.

Multi-Sports Skills Camp

Grades 1-5. This camp helps kids learn the basics of a variety of different sports, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and more! With a focus on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and athletic development, campers will get a taste of a variety of new sports they may have never tried.

Scholarship Information

Willamalane scholarships are available. Here’s how you can apply:

Step 1: Check to make sure you live within Willamalane’s district. Check our district map to verify that you live within our district boundaries. Note: Some out-of-district families may qualify for Willamalane scholarships if your child is a current or incoming student with Springfield Public Schools. 

Step 2: Do you qualify for one of the following programs? 

  • Federal Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Free or reduced lunch 
  • Oregon Trail Card
  • LIHEAP
  • Oregon Medical Assistance
  • Unemployment benefits
  • Oregon Health Plan
  • Other (you can provide evidence of another hardship)

Step 4: Email your completed application to scholarships@willamalane.org or deliver it in person at the Bob Keefer Center.
