Camps 

Willamalane has a full range of camps for summer, winter, and spring breaks in Springfield! Keep kids busy this summer with sports, crafts, esports, outdoor adventures, and so much more. Scholarships are available.

To register for summer camps, you must register online or in-person at Bob Keefer Center. Phone registration is not available. Online registration works best on a desktop or laptop computer. If you need to use a mobile device, learn how to access the desktop site from your mobile device.

Camps with Open Spots

Disc Golf Camp

Participants will begin the week at Les Schwab Sports Park learning the fundamentals of disc golf from experienced disc golf coaches. Midway through camp, participants will take what they’ve learned and apply it to the course. Campers will visit Clearwater Park’s disc golf course for practice rounds and a final day tournament.  All sports equipment will be provided by Willamalane. This camp is eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Esports Skills Camp
Learn from experienced coaches while playing video games. We'll work on critical thinking, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. This camp is eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Grab It NFL Flag Football Camp
Each day, campers will do fundamental football drills covering different positions. Then they'll put those new skills to use in flag football games. Players will receive instruction from experienced, professional coaches, with age-appropriate drills in an approximate 10-1 player to coach ratio. Campers will receive a t-shirt. This camp is eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

  • Aug. 29-31: Monday-Wednesday, 8:45-10:45 a.m. (grades K-2) or 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (grades 3-8)

Youth and Junior Cheer Skills Camps
Younger cheer athletes will focus on tumbling, stretches, stunting, cheer motions, and chants. Older athletes learn gymnastics, aerials, choreography, cheer motions, and chants. You will perform a showcase for family and friends. Camps in this category include Youth Cheer Skills and Junior Cheer Skills. This camp is eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Winter Blast Camp: Week 1
Kids have a blast during winter break with arts and crafts, active games, and more! This camp is sure to create lasting memories. Participants are split into age-appropriate groups.

Multi-sports Skills Camp: Week 1 
This skills-based camp focuses on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and athletic development. Multi-Sport camps introduce young athletes to the basics of eight different sports.

Middle School Basketball Skills Camp 
Get ready for the next Middle School Sports Season! Middle schoolers can jointhis skills-based camp and  improve their fundamental  basketball skills through essential drills on dribbling, passing, shooting, and game experience. Coaches will help young athletes build confidence, self-esteem, and more passion for the game.

Scholarship Information

Willamalane scholarships are available. Here’s how you can apply:

Step 1: Check to make sure you live within Willamalane’s district. Check our district map to verify that you live within our district boundaries. Note: Some out-of-district families may qualify for Willamalane scholarships if your child is a current or incoming student with Springfield Public Schools. 

Step 2: Do you qualify for one of the following programs? 

  • Federal Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Free or reduced lunch 
  • Oregon Trail Card
  • LIHEAP
  • Oregon Medical Assistance
  • Unemployment benefits
  • Oregon Health Plan
  • Other (you can provide evidence of another hardship)

Step 4: Email your completed application to scholarships@willamalane.org or deliver it in person at the Bob Keefer Center.
