Summer Camps 

Willamalane has a full range of camps for summer, winter, and spring breaks in Springfield! Keep kids busy this summer with sports, crafts, esports, outdoor adventures, and so much more. Spots will fill quickly. Scholarships are available. 


To register for summer camps, you must register online or in-person at Bob Keefer Center. Phone registration is not available. Online registration works best on a desktop or laptop computer. If you need to use a mobile device, learn how to access the desktop site from your mobile device.

To help with a smooth registration process, check that your family's information is correct at Willamalane’s registration site. Challenger Soccer Camp
Challenger Sports is the leading soccer camp company in North America and our International Soccer Camp is where we channel our energy and passion for the game into a fun yet developmental environment. Experts have crafted an approach that uses methodologies from all around the world to truly reflect the global nature of the sport today. We use age-appropriate practices to help players develop at their own pace, learn brand new skills, and become all-around better players... while having an amazing time with our international coaching staff! The camp is not eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Esports Skills Camp

Learn from experienced coaches while playing video games. We'll work on critical thinking, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Minis & Youth and Junior Cheer Skills Camps

Younger cheer athletes will focus on tumbling, stretches, stunting, cheer motions, and chants. Older athletes learn gymnastics, aerials, choreography, cheer motions, and chants. You will perform a showcase for family and friends. Camps in this category include Minis & Youth Cheer Skills and Junior Cheer Skills.

NFL Flag Football Camp
Each day, campers will do fundamental football drills covering different positions. Then they'll put those new skills to use in flag football games. Players will receive instruction from experienced, professional coaches, with age-appropriate drills in an approximate 10-1 player to coach ratio. Campers will receive a t-shirt.

Skateboard Skills Camps
This camp is designed for youth to teach them basic skateboarding skills, proper etiquette at skate parks, and confidence while riding their board.

Thurston Colts Boys Soccer Camp
Learn from our coaches and train with our current high school players to help improve your fundamental skills and techniques like passing, shooting, and dribbling. All participants will receive a T-shirt. The camp is not eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Thurston Colts Girls Soccer Camp

Have fun while learning ball skills, player movement, and playing small-sided games. Learn from experienced high school players. Participants receive a T-shirt and a gift. The camp is not eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Thurston Colts Girls Basketball Camp
Join us for the Thurston High School Girls Basketball Camp. Camper will be learning Offensive fundamentals including shooting, ballhandling, passing, catching, and footwork. All participants receive a T-shirt. The camp is not eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Thurston Colts Girls Volleyball Camp
Our Colts Volleyball Camp is focused on coaching the participants with a goal for each learner to get the information and application of skills they need to improve their volleyball game while developing a love for the sport. We will focus on the fundamentals of passing, setting, and serving. All participants receive a T-shirt. The camp is not eligible for the Springfield Public Schools grant.

Treeline KidsFit Camp
Ages 8-12. Athletes will learn exercises for cardiovascular endurance, agility, stamina, strength training, flexibility, power, balance, speed, coordination, gymnastic training, and accuracy, all while having fun and staying safe. This is a great camp for all kids, whether they specialize in sports or they have no previous athletic background. These two-hour camps will have combination of classroom-style learning, breakdown of movements, dynamic warm-ups, a variety of fitness movements, relays, and games.

Dorris Ranch Detectives
There is a mystery to solve at Dorris Ranch! Use outdoor skills such as compass reading, map making, and shelter building to find the clues and collect a prize.

Explorers Camp
Enjoy crafts, active games, and weekly swim trips. Each week has a different theme. See the weekly themes and parent handbook.

Fiber Art Fun Camp
Try printing, felting, sewing, weaving, and dyeing with a variety of materials. Learn interesting techniques and skills with a new, exciting project each day.

Kampin’ Koalas

LEGO® Camps

Tennis Skills Camp
Enjoy games, drills, competition, and the use of a world-class ball machine in this outdoor camp. All skill levels are welcome.

Discover five great artists, including Frida Kahlo and Mo Willems, and create your own masterpieces in the manner of these masters. Explore different media.


Scholarship Information

Willamalane scholarships are available. Here’s how you can apply:

Step 1: Check to make sure you live within Willamalane’s district. Check our district map to verify that you live within our district boundaries. Note: Some out-of-district families may qualify for Willamalane scholarships if your child is a current or incoming student with Springfield Public Schools. 

Step 2: Do you qualify for one of the following programs? 

  • Federal Food Stamps
  • Medicaid
  • Free or reduced lunch 
  • Oregon Trail Card
  • LIHEAP
  • Oregon Medical Assistance
  • Unemployment benefits
  • Oregon Health Plan
  • Other (you can provide evidence of another hardship)

Step 3: If you meet the requirements in steps 1 and 2, learn more about Willamalane scholarships and download the application here. Camp Venture has a separate scholarship here.

Step 4: Email your completed application to scholarships@willamalane.org or deliver it in person at the Bob Keefer Center.
