Local Favorites Headline at Willamalane’s Concerts in the Park
Every summer, favorite Eugene-Springfield bands perform live at Willamalane’s Concerts in the Park series at Island Park (200 West B Street, Springfield). This summer, shows will be on Thursday and Friday evenings, July 30-Aug. 14. Each show features a different band, with a variety of musical styles throughout the series.
The show schedule is as follows:
- July 30: Code Red, a high-energy cover band
- July 31: Skeletons from the Closet, a Grateful Dead tribute band
- Aug. 6: EastSide AllStars, self-described as Lane County’s favorite dance band
- Aug. 7: Outlaw ‘Shine, a country and southern rock band
- Aug. 13: The Honey Brown Band, a top 40 cover band
- Aug. 14: The Sugar Beets, a rock and funk band
Admission is $5 per person or free with two non-perishable food donations. The gates open at 5:30 p.m., and concerts begin at 6 p.m. Beer and wine will be available for purchase, along with food from local carts.
The Concerts in the Park series is presented by Peak Community Credit Union, Lookout Eugene-Springfield, and NW Natural. For a complete list of concerts, food trucks, and other details, visit willamalane.org/concerts.
This summer, there will also be four free performances at Island Park on select Wednesday evenings. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy music from community bands. Admission is free.
