Dog Training

From new puppies to show dogs, we can help you with every step of your dog's training journey. For your safety, we're keeping COVID protocol top-of-mind as we reopen classes. 


Puppy Training: Puppies must be between the ages of 8 and 20 weeks and have the DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo, and parainfluenza) and rabies shots to participate in class.

Beginning Dog Training/Basic Manners: In this class, your dog will learn to watch, sit, down, come, stay, wait, greet, and follow other commands. These classes are intended to help you and your dog learn the fundamentals of great canine citizenship.

  • $60 in-district, $72 out-of-district

Intermediate Dog Training/Canine Good Citizen:
This class reinforces the basics of good manners and obedience, teaches new skills, instills the values of responsible ownership, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog at home and in the community.
  • In-person at Bob Keefer Center
  • $60 in-district, $72 out-of-district
  • New class every month. Wednesdays, 2–2:45 p.m. Register here

Advanced Dog Training/Advanced Canine Good Citizen:
This dog obedience class will allow your dog to achieve the highest levels of good behavior and the opportunity to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. Trick training is also provided.
