RV parking still available at Bob Keefer Center for evacuees
Due to sustained hazardous air quality both indoors and outside, Willamalane Park and Recreation District is forced to close all facilities, parks, and trails. This is in effect immediately and until further notice.
The temporary day-use smoke respite shelters at Bob Keefer Center and Willamalane Adult Activity Center will both close. Due to the deteriorating air quality inside these facilities, we are no longer able to offer a safe smoke shelter during this crisis.
Bob Keefer Center parking lot is still allowing RV parking. No RV dumping is allowed and we do not have power or water hook-ups available. There are limited spaces available and we ask that you not block flow of traffic, entrances, or exits.
Willamalane is working with firefighting teams at Bob Artz Memorial Park. Firefighters currently have the support and resources they need and are unable to take donations of any kind. Donations should be directed to local disaster response organizations, such as American Red Cross.
Community members looking for recreational opportunities can try at-home fitness activities, activities for families at home, and virtual park activities. All facility and program updates will be available online as the situation progresses.
