Single-day Wellness Workshops

Ages 14+. These workshops, taught by Willamalane's fitness instructors, are inspiring and informative sessions designed to increase your physical, mental, and emotional health.

Evening Two-Step
Ages 14+. Nightclub Two Step is a smooth, fluid dance style that is great for beginners and more experienced dancers because of its versatility. Workshop participants do not need prior dance experience, nor a pre-selected partner to participate, but comfortable closed-toed tennis shoes or low heels are encouraged.

Dietary Guidance
Ages 14+. Learn about healthy eating, superfoods, fad diets, and how to stay informed. We will learn tips, tricks, and techniques for healthy eating and how to make impactful decisions for your body, mind, and spirit. Instructor: Thomas.

Yoga en Español
Ages 14+. Participe en una sesión de yoga para principiantes que será impartida en español. Se enseñarán las posturas básicas o “asanas” del hatha yoga. Todo lo que necesita traer es una colchoneta para hacer yoga y ropa cómoda. No es necesario tener experiencia previa. 

Enjoy a beginner yoga session conducted in Spanish. We will review the basic postures of a Hatha yoga practice, or “asanas.” All you need is a yoga mat and comfortable clothing. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Instructor: Kristin.

Hypertrophy Techniques and Information
Ages 14+. Understand how gaining and maintaining muscle is beneficial for your body and the pitfalls to look out for. Learn about strength training, muscle mass benefits,

How to Stay Motivated

Heart Safe
Cardiac arrest is still the #1 killer of adults in the USA. However, it does not have to be fatal; 50% of cardiac arrest victims can survive. Their survival depends on your action, please come ready to learn about compression CPR with the Eugene/ Springfield Fire Department. EMS instructor Josh will be leading the Heart Safe workshop.
Please bring a gardening pad for your knees and a notepad for note-taking.

Wellness Workshop Series

Ages 14+. Take a deeper dive into wellness topics with a six- or eight-week series. You'll join a cohort of learners dedicated to improving mind and body wellness in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment.

Mindful Yoga for Chronic Pain Wellness Workshop Series
Ages 14+. Consider alternative ways to help cope with chronic pain using yoga practice, philosophy, and history. We will focus on thoughtfulness, breath, meditation, and gentle movement. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences throughout this eight-week series. Instructor: Kate.
