Events at the Adult Activity Center

Willamalane Adult Activity Center holds a multitude of special events year round. Check them out!

Holiday Marketplace: All ages. Enjoy shopping for your holiday treasures, from handmade soap to beaded earrings. Local community artisans will be featured including pottery, jewelry, fine arts, textiles, woodworking, soaps and lotions, stained glass, jams and preserves, cozy hats, scarves, and more! This unique mid-week marketplace is a one-stop gift shopping destination.
Dec. 4 & 5, 9:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
We're looking for vendors! Please apply by November 25. Download the vendor application here.

40th Anniversary Soiree: Ages 18+. A gilt and bejeweled evening awaits as the Adult Activity Center celebrates its 40th anniversary! Browse and bid at a silent auction fundraiser, indulge in a decadent three-course meal, dip sweet treats into a chocolate fountain, and help us bury a commemorative time capsule as we imagine the next 40 years of community fun.
Friday, Feb. 21, 6–8 p.m.

Note: This event has been rescheduled to Feb. 21 due to a time conflict.

Island Park Art Gallery: Island Park Art Gallery is a two-dimension exhibition space with new artists rotating every two months. The gallery is located inside Willamalane Adult Activity Center.  We welcome local artists of various styles, mediums, and experience to participate in our gallery exhibits. Check out the current exhibit here.

See information for more Willamalane events at the Special Events page.

Why can't I see the class I want to take?
Not all classes may be available at this time, and many of this term's classes may have already started. Check back every term for a new slate!

What does ID/OD mean?
People who live or own property within Willamalane Park and Recreation District’s boundaries support Willamalane with their tax dollars, and so they enjoy lower program costs. If you live in-district, you'll pay the ID cost; if you live out-of-district, you'll pay the OD cost. Not sure if you're in-district? Check the district map here.
