Willamalane
SkateparkAll ages. The outdoor skatepark at Willamalane Park is a place where area youth can have an appropriate place to practice their sport and gather with their peers at no cost. This skatepark features chunky, abrupt shapes with definite corners. And doesn't that one look like a picnic table? Yes, that is a "picnic table" in the middle, right in front of a set of "stairs" and across from a very real fire hydrant. This "street-style" skatepark looks more like the real world, and it's just what Springfield skaters told designers they wanted.
