Adopt a Park

Your group can adopt a park or a portion of a trail by volunteering to help during a specific time period. Call the volunteer coordinator at 736-4104 for a list of potential projects. Recently adopted parks include Meadow Park, adopted by Starbucks, and Thurston Park, adopted by Oregon Community Credit Union.

Living History Guide

Learn and live local history through volunteering as a living history guide for school programs. Dorris Ranch has been offering educational field trips to Lane County students since 1988. Become a costumed living history guide and lead students through a historical adventure around the ranch, our two tours emphasize relationships between people, the environment and history.
