Adult Activity CenterBe the first smiling face a person sees after walking in the front door of the Adult Activity Center! The greeter welcomes newcomers and established participants, shares information about programs and activities and answers questions. The greeter also maintains coffee and supplies at the coffee bar, and assists the office with miscellaneous tasks.
Gift Shop clerks help customers in the Adult Activity Center’s consignment shop. Clerks also maintain the appearance of the shop and assist with special orders and layaways. Experienced clerks may be trained to do consignments.
Be part of the fun at the Adult Activity Center! The center holds a variety of special events throughout the year. Volunteers assist by decorating, preparing food, taking tickets and serving guests. Tasks vary depending on the event.
Join a work party to get out a big mailing! This is a fun way to meet new friends or spend time with people you know while helping the center. The center also needs help each month with miscellaneous tasks.

Volunteers help in our preschool and kindergarten classrooms with story time, snack, crafts and more. We have half-day and full-day preschool programs you can participate in. If you enjoy the laughter of 3- to 5-year-olds, this is the place to volunteer.
Volunteers provide a great service to the staff by assisting with data entry, filing, organizing and answering telephones. Duties include working with staff members and the public, answering phones and taking part in special projects as they come up.

• Building a garden shed.
• Maintaining a trail or restoring native habitat.
