Board of Directors
Willamalane Park and Recreation District is an independent special tax district where residents pay a special tax to fund the maintenance and operation of park and recreation facilities. Willamalane is governed by a dedicated five-member board of directors, with each board member serving "at-large" for a four-year elected term of office through the Lane County special district election process. See the Board of Directors Manual.
Board Appointment
One person will be appointed to the board of directors at the next meeting on Feb. 11, 2026. The appointee will serve a term expiring June 30, 2027.

Public Board Meeting Documents
Willamalane Park and Recreation District is committed to transparency and adheres to the Oregon Public Meetings Law (ORS 192.610-192.690). Video recordings of all public meetings are provided for public access. Recordings will be posted within seven calendar days after each meeting.
Upcoming Public Meetings
The Willamalane Board of Directors holds regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., except in August. Work sessions and special meetings are scheduled as needed and occur on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. All meetings are held in person at the Bob Keefer Center and virtually, unless otherwise specified.

March Board of Directors Meeting
The Willamalane Board of Directors holds monthly meetings to guide district operations and special or emergency meetings as needed. Community members are invited to attend all meetings and speak for three minutes during the public comment section at regular monthly meetings.

Rules for Public Comment
- Each speaker is limited to three minutes to address the board.
- Any disruptive behavior, personal attacks, harassment, bullying, or intimidation during public comment, including members of the audience, will not be tolerated.
- The board will listen to all comments but will not directly engage with you during your speaking time. After public comments are made, board members may make a statement or ask follow-up questions in response.

If you cannot attend a board meeting or prefer not to speak in person, you may submit written public comment to the board of directors at any time.
