Summer fun with summer camp

Play sports and games.
• Create craft projects and experiment with science.

Remember those awesome days of summer camp? You can give your child experiences and memories that will last forever! Explore Dorris Ranch, play sports and games, be an artist, and participate in field trips and swim trips. Children of all ages delight in these traditional camp activities. We aim to create a relaxing, trusting, and fun atmosphere where all children are encouraged to pursue their own interests, develop friendships, and grow in confidence, independence, and respect for themselves and others. Children will be divided into age-appropriate groups.

During the extended-care hours campers may choose the quiet area with a morning snack and low-key activities; the hands-on activity center with crafts, science, or self-directed projects; or the outdoor games area for physical play.

All the Fun of Kids Club Camp—and More!

Kids entering sixth grade may have “graduated” from some Kids Club Camp activities, but they haven’t yet experienced the pressures of middle school. Sixth-Grade Adventure Camp helps build leadership and character skills with morning activities, such as group games and challenges to learn team-building skills; hiking and outdoor education; planning and implementing community service projects; and weekly out-of-town field trips. In the afternoon, the group will participate in regular Kids Club Camp programs such as swim trips, special guests, and in-town field trips.

Xtreme summer!
• Raft a river.

• Climb a cliff.

• Learn outdoor-survival skills.

• Play sports and games.

• Make new friends.

Let your plans for this summer go beyond the usual. This day camp offers ten weeks of outdoor recreation that will leave you panting and begging for more.
In addition to the weekly themed activities planned, teens will also participate in community service projects and a Challenge of the Week.

This camp offers youth new experiences and safe activities. Campers will learn team-building skills by participating, leading, and supporting others. By modeling democratic principles and encouraging mutual respect, activity leaders help build confidence and self-esteem. When youth feel good about themselves, they operate more effectively and productively in their communities, families, and schools.
