Mat Pilates

Ages 18 and up. This gentle blend of stretching and toning exercises increases abdominal strength and postural alignment, lengthens muscles into a balanced whole, and builds endurance and strength without putting undue stress on lungs, heart and joints. Nia Technique Mind-Body Fitness

Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance

Ages 50 and up. This tai chi program is designed to improve balance and prevent falls. All movements adhere to fundamental principles of tai chi: weight-bearing and nonweight-bearing stances, body alignment and coordinated movements conducted in a continuous, circular and flowing motion.
